Welcome!

I am a PhD candidate in Accounting and Management at Harvard Business School. I am on the 2026–2027 academic job market.

My research interests fall into two streams: (1) firms’ internal information environment, particularly the mechanisms that improve the upward transmission of local information to support organizational learning and managerial decision-making, and (2) the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in management control systems and in organizations more broadly.

Methodologically, I combine large-sample archival analyses with surveys, field studies, and field experiments inside organizations. I am particularly interested in applying machine learning, natural language processing, and large language model tools to construct measures from novel textual and other unstructured data.

Before coming to HBS, I earned an M.S. in Accounting and Fundamental Analysis from Columbia Business School and a B.B.A. in Business Administration from Renmin University of China.

Outside of research, I enjoy watching films, playing tennis, and spending time with my little dog, Nori, and I am always excited to try new adventures in life.
